These include five times in the Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing, PLC, Sydney, twice in the Spring Festival of Drawing, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Mornington, twice in the ARC Yinnar Drawing prize and the Castlemaine State Festival Dominique Segan Drawing Prize, Castlemaine.
As a recipient of the ISS Italian Services Institute International Fellowship in 2013, I have been able to conduct research in Italy and Austria studying classical and medieval art forms. Inspired and enriched by this experience, my artwork continues to reference and celebrate the human form and architecture, with symbolic and religious undertones.
Subjects I have taught include General drawing, Life drawing, pastel, watercolour, collage, painting, textiles, ceramics, book – binding, visual communication and art history. I currently teach art part time at the Sophia Mundi Steiner School in Abbotsford, and in community art groups.
