Graduated with a B.S. degree with honors in Arts Studio from Kentucky State University, Prof. Bibbs took his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, and received in 1986 a Ford Postdoctoral Fellowship to study art at the Chicago Art Institute. He has taught and created art at the University of Kentucky for the last 24 years.
